New Presses at PF Plasty: Step by Step to Full Operation

At PF Plasty, an important phase of new machine installation is underway. The entire process began on January 27, 2025, when containers with assembly parts started arriving. If everything goes according to plan, the presses could be fully operational by the end of March. However, the schedule remains flexible – the key factor will be the pace of commissioning and assembly of the five-axis Yaskawa robots, which are currently at our supplier Mapro.

Important Phase of Machine Installation at PF Plasty Underway

An important phase of new machine installation is currently taking place at PF Plasty. The entire process began on January 27, 2025, when containers with assembly parts started arriving. If everything goes according to plan, production could take over the presses for full operation by the end of March. However, the schedule remains flexible—the key factor will be the commissioning and assembly speed of the five-axis Yaskawa robots, which are currently at our supplier, Mapro.

Machine Type and Specifications:

  • Type: JUPITER - JU 18500V - 1750
  • Technology: Single-component plastic injection molding, with molded parts retrieved from both mirror-reversed machines by five-axis robots and placed in a two-story conveyor belt system to optimize space.
  • Clamping Force: 1,850 tons
  • Maximum Part Weight: Up to 7,600g
  • Injection Volume: 8,362 cm³

Installation Timeline:

  • January 27 – February 3: Containers with parts arrive from Hamburg. Trucks transport them directly to the PF Plasty hall, where they are unloaded using a crane.
  • February 3: Assembly of the key parts of the first press begins, gradually taking its final shape.
  • February 10: The second press is completed. PF Plasty then focuses on fine mechanics, electrical installation, and safety components.
  • February 17–26: Installation of power supply cables and heating systems takes place—handled internally at PF Plasty.
  • End of February: Press commissioning and testing begin. A critical aspect will be the five-axis Yaskawa robots, currently at our supplier, Mapro.

We are confident that everything will proceed smoothly and look forward to reaching another milestone in the development of PF Plasty production!
